Rant-ish...
Been talking to a guy for over a year. We live in different states. I have openly and explicitly stated i am very much into him in more than a friend way. Finally just asked him when exactly do you want to meet up? Because he cant be in a relationship until he has met in person a few times (fine, that is understandable I suppose). Mind you, we have sexted (this has significantly slowed down to nothing in months), he use to call me pet names (also has not in a minute), and is just suddenly kinda off.
Anyways, I asked him the question. He goes, "well, I kinda just wish you lived in <city in my state> where my friends are."
I respond, "that's just a three hour drive. Maybe four."
"Yeah, but no offense there isn't really anything in <my city> other than you that would interest me."
......... i dont live in podunk nowhere up the crick. I live in a city with over a million people. Its known for being an artsy town with great food and a huge university scene.
Just, what?? I am so exhausted. He tells me I am special and he enjoys me, but yet has no interest in visiting me. I am less than a year into a new job so I am not in a position to travel much yet. And apparently even if I did travel to him he is worried we wont hit it off somehow... i dont get it. I think after a year you can say we will probably hit it off.
Anyways... thats my day, and im just confused. Figured I would rant and see if the internet has an opinion. Thanks for reading.
